Calculate your
Whop churn.

Type your members, price, and cancellations. The figures stay in this browser. Nothing is sent or stored. Silence, if you add it, is a lead indicator, not a cancel prediction.

Your numbers

Members who still have access.

What one member pays per month. Use an average if plans differ.

How do you want to enter churn?

Members who cancel in a typical month.

Optional. Leave blank to skip the illustration. This is your own estimate, not a Holdrate measurement.

Results

Enter active members, a monthly price, and either cancellations or a churn rate.

Amounts use the monthly price you typed and a dollar sign. Nothing is converted, sent, or stored.

How to read the results

Monthly churn rate is cancellations divided by active members. MRR lost per month is that cancellation count times the price you entered. Revenue lost over 12 months repeats this month’s cancellation count twelve times. It is the cost of the pace you typed. It is not a model of a community that shrinks, replaces members, or switches people to annual plans.

Average member lifetime is 1 divided by the monthly churn rate, in months. Lifetime value multiplies that lifetime by the monthly price. If you entered no cancellations, both stay blank. A zero rate does not mean people stay forever. It means this calculator will not divide by zero.

The line about saving 1 in 5 quiet members appears only when you fill in the optional silent share. It multiplies one fifth of that share by the monthly price. Members who have gone quiet are a prompt to look, not a score. Some are busy, some are done, and some will renew without a message.

To see silent counts from your own Whop company, run the free inactive-member audit. Sign in and connect the company. You get counts for 7, 14, and 30 days without Whop activity, plus estimated monthly plan value at risk. That estimate is exposure, not a forecast that those members will cancel. The audit only works when members use Whop itself: courses, chat, or content apps. If Whop is only the checkout for a Discord or Telegram group, last-accessed time will not show whether those members are active.

Questions

How is the monthly churn rate calculated?

Monthly churn rate is monthly cancellations divided by active members. If you enter a percentage instead, cancellations are active members times that percentage. For example, 5% of 200 members is 10 cancellations.

What does MRR lost per month mean?

It is the cancellation count times the monthly price you entered: the recurring plan value those cancellations take with them this month. It is not a prediction, and it does not include discounts or tax.

How is revenue lost over 12 months calculated?

It is the monthly figure times 12. That assumes the same number of cancellations happens each month. It does not model new members, refunds, annual plans, or a shrinking member base.

How are member lifetime and lifetime value calculated?

Average member lifetime, in months, is 1 divided by the monthly churn rate. Lifetime value is that many months times the monthly price. If the rate is 0%, both are left undefined, because the calculator will not divide by zero. They are averages from the rate you entered, not a promise that any member stays that long.

Is saving 1 in 5 quiet members a forecast?

No. It is an illustration: one fifth of the silent share you typed, times the monthly price. Silence means you estimated that those members had no Whop activity for 14 days or more. It does not mean they will cancel, and it does not mean a message will keep them.

Does this describe members who only pay through Whop?

The calculator does not read your Whop account. It only does arithmetic on what you type. An inactivity audit based on Whop last-accessed time can see courses, chat, and content apps inside Whop. It cannot see Discord or Telegram. If Whop is only your checkout, do not treat a Whop silence figure as participation in another app.
