Confirm members use Whop itself
Last-accessed time only describes courses, chat, and content apps on Whop. If Whop is only checkout for Discord or Telegram, this list will not show participation.
A member can pay on Whop and then spend every day in another app. They will look silent on Whop because they never had a reason to come back after checkout. That is not inactivity in the product they actually use. Check this before you build a list or send a “we miss you” note.
Read last-accessed time
Use the last time a current member opened your Whop content. An empty value means they never opened it. Do not substitute the last payment date.
Whop’s member record includes the last time that person opened your company’s content. Holdrate reads that field. It is not the last payment, not an email open, and not a message in Discord or Telegram.
An empty value means they have never opened the content. It does not mean the record is broken. For those members, counting from the join date answers a different question: how long they have been a member without a first visit. A timestamp that cannot be read, or that sits in the future, is not healthy activity. Leave that member unknown rather than marking them active.
Sort the list into 7, 14, and 30 days
Count whole days since that access, or since the join date if they never opened the content. The 14-day and 30-day groups sit inside the 7-day group.
Seven days is early silence, useful when the first week should already have included a visit. Fourteen days is the same person, still inside the 7-day count, and a fair moment for a more specific note if you have not written yet. Thirty days is inside both shorter counts. Look at that list when a renewal is close, if you know the date.
Only current members belong here. Someone who already cancelled is churned. Mixing them in makes “revenue at risk” look larger than the plan value still being billed. One-time purchases are not monthly revenue.
Add up recurring monthly plan value
Sum the monthly price of recurring plans for members who still have access and have been quiet for 7 days or more. Keep currencies separate. The sum is exposure, not predicted lost revenue.
Discounts and tax sit outside that estimate. So does anyone whose membership has ended. The number answers “what monthly price is attached to people who still have access and have not opened Whop?” It does not answer “who will cancel?”
Do it by hand
You can build the list without Holdrate if you are willing to be careful.
- Open or export your Whop members and note the last time each current member accessed your content. Use last-accessed time, not the last payment.
- For anyone with no access time, use the date they joined, and mark them as never opened.
- Drop admins, ended memberships, and anyone who no longer has access.
- Count days from today. A gap of 7 or more puts them on the 7-day list, and also on the 14-day or 30-day list when they qualify.
- Add the monthly price of the recurring plans on the 7-day list. Keep each currency in its own total.
Whop’s screens may not show these three buckets for you. If you cannot see last-accessed time where you manage members, it still lives on the member record Whop’s API returns. Guessing from payment history will mark paying-but-absent people as active, which is the opposite of the list you want. The request, the pages, and the cases where the timestamp is the wrong signal are in how to list inactive members with the Whop API.
Or run the free audit
Sign in on Holdrate, connect the Whop company, and read the silent 7, 14, and 30 day counts plus estimated monthly plan value at risk. Memberships stay unchanged.
The audit is the short path when members use a course, Whop chat, or a content app. It is the wrong path when they do not. The connection reads access times and recurring plan prices. It does not cancel anyone, change a plan, or send a message. You can disconnect the company later in settings.
Silence, even with the right data, is still a lead indicator. A member can be heads-down, away, or already getting what they wanted. The list is a prompt to look.
Once you have names, a simple check-in rhythm is more useful than a blast. Notes you can copy for a DM or an email are in Whop win-back message templates. If you want the money side of a cancellation count before you connect anything, the Whop churn calculator runs in the browser on numbers you type. It does not store them.
